Volunteer Opportunities Outside of King Farm Neighbors Village

Joslyne Decker, Program Specialist with Empowering the Ages (ETA), a non-profit that facilitates intergenerational programming notified us of the following volunteer opportunities for our members.

Volunteers are matched with pre-k and Head Start students and families to build a relationship through weekly play & reading sessions plus parent conversations (90% online, currently). Spanish speakers needed.

2. Crossing Paths Crossing Paths is an intergenerational discussion program that brings small groups of teens and older adults together once per week for meaningful, thought-provoking discussions on a variety of topics.

ETA’s workforce development program bridges the gap between young people who need coaching and guidance to reach their career potential, and experienced people in their community who can provide that support.

Please email joslyne@empoweringtheages.org if you're interested. Programming starts in the fall.
