During this health emergency, the King Farm Neighbors Village (KFNV) has been working on a project to support its mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” To that end, the KFNV is proud to announce the launch of its new website with enhanced user-friendly features such as one-click reservations and easy-to-use forms. I would be remiss in not giving a shout-out to our amazing web designer, Annie Gavett. Annie took our ideas, needs, and wants and creatively incorporated them into an efficient, informative, easy-to-navigate website that caters to our membership. In particular, Annie patiently and with good humor collaborated with and taught her “Boomer” pupils- the KFNV Operations Group (OG)- how to understand, utilize, and appreciate the functions, upgrades, and features of the new website; for this and for all of the time and effort that Annie expended, the OG as well as the Board of Directors for the KFNV is most grateful and thankful.
For KFNV, the new website has been our “silver lining” during this troublesome time. We encourage you to take a peek at our “silver lining” at www.kfnv.org and let us know what you think. You can leave comments below this blog, email us at kfnvinfo@gmail.com, or leave a voice mail at 301-799-8104. Please also visit our new Facebook King Farm Neighbors Village group page to post your comments. We’d love to hear from you.
The KFNV hopes you are finding your own “silver lining” as we traverse this troubling time in our country and the world. Finally, we hope our new website will help you to better weather this troubling time by providing a better way for you to communicate with us and with each other, so that we, indeed, can be “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
